HARMONIZE: Rock, Play, Groove, directed by Alisa Harmon, is dedicated to the joy of making music, rather than merely consuming it. 

We offer music classes and parties for little kids where we rock, play, & groove.  We also offer guitar and keyboard lessons for older kids, teens, and adults.

A typical HARMONIZE class is all about rockin', jammin', singin', dancin', groovin', and playin'.  Babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers "make music their own" in joyful surroundings.

The original music featured in a HARMONIZE class is straight from Manhattan - the hip 'n happenin' phenomenon known as Music for Aardvarks & Other Mammals, written by David Weinstone. The Aardvarks experience splashed onto children's TV when NICKELODEON and Nick Jr. discovered Weinstone's music.  (See videos from Nick Jr. in our "videos" section.)  

Alisa Harmon was the first licensee to bring Music for Aardvarks to New Jersey a decade ago, and Montclair has been rockin' and groovin' ever since! Truth is, over the years, folks have traveled to us from Verona and the Caldwells, Glen Ridge, Bloomfield, Nutley, Clifton, Maplewood, Millburn, Madison, Chatham, Summit, and Short Hills!

Our goal in a HARMONIZE class is not to teach music.  Instead, we provide an environment in which children can experience music that is fresh, happy, silly, and relevant, with simple lyrics that mirror their lives.

Little kids, from tots to pre-teens, can really rock!  Young children express their musical tastes very early, and HARMONIZE: Rock, Play, Groove is just the place to explore and foster that love - that need - to share the music inside of them.  Besides, we have a jammin' good time!

Harmonize offers Music for Aardvarks classes at three locations in Montclair. 
Harmonize will customize birthday and holiday parties at your venue in portions of the North Jersey counties of Essex, Union, and Morris. 
*In Essex county, Harmonize rocks parties in Glen Ridge, Bloomfield, West Orange, Verona & the Caldwells, Nutley, and Clifton;
*In Union county, Harmonize rocks parties in Westfield, Cranford, Maplewood, Millburn, Short Hills and Scotch Plains;
*In Morris county, Harmonize rocks parties in Madison, Chatham, and Summit. 

Harmonize offers guitar and keyboard lessons at your venue in all of Northern New Jersey,
including Essex, Union, Bergen, Hudson, Morris, and Passaic counties.
